Project Earth, a student-led environmental group at UWT, will be hosting Ecuadorian activist Leonardo Cerda. Leonardo Cerda is running a campaign to raise awareness about food sovereignty, indigenous resistance, and local cooperatives in the areas around the Amazon River. Cerda has been active in the environmental movement since age 14, and his story of activism will be an inspiration for people interested in climate change.

The Tacoma General Membership Branch of the Industrial Workers of the World invites you to a FREE two-day organizer training this November 22nd and 23rd.

This training is for anyone interested in better understanding the process and value of Unions and Union organizing. You do not have to be a member of the IWW to attend this FREE training.

Our next business meeting will be on Monday the 24th at 8pm in room 202 of the Wheelock Student Center, also known as the SUB, student union building of the University of Puget Sound. Some things we are working on are movie showings, dance parties, an anti-war march, poster making, and more! All are welcome, no restrictions on age or school status.
