Tacoma SDS

The Port of Tacoma is preparing once again to serve as the strategic deployment platform for the 5th Brigade/ 2nd Infantry Division Strykers to Afghanistan.

Preparations for this deployment are well underway and coordination between the Port of Tacoma, City of Tacoma, Regional Intelligence Group and the US Army are nearly complete.

A resource tool has been developed and will be updated as more information is collected and processed. This tool is a product of the "Action Fusion Center - Salish Sea Region" (AFC-SSR).

We expect the forward staging and loading to occur at the area marked by "Pushpin 47" on the above map/imagery collection.

AFC-SSR uses open source tools and information to assist activists with a variety of causes.
