"American Blackout is the kind of documentary that only comes along every few years. It's the sort of film that changes things — changes how you think. If there was any justice in this world this film would receive the same buzz and box office that anything that Michael Moore releases gets." --Zach Roberts
"It blew me away" --Greg Palast, author of Armed Madhouse and The Best Democracy Money Can Buy
American Blackout chronicles the recurring pattern of disenfranchisement of black voters witnessed in 2000 and 2004 while following the story of Georgia Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney, who not only took an active role in investigating these election debacles but also found herself in the middle of one after publicly questioning the Bush Administration about the September 11th terrorist attacks.
Come out and see how badly the Democrats treat their own when they get out of line.
Come out get informed about what it really takes to win elections in the U.S. and to see hear information about alternatives to the two major political party candidates.
Come out and watch it, because Democracy Matters!
