Bellingham SDS'er Arrested! Military Recruiters and Police Repression!
Posted February 16th, 2007 by KarimGreetings all,
I have some unfortunate news. Yesterday, February 15th, while passing out flyers (containing important questions to consider before enlisting in the military) in front of an Army recruiting table at the Western Washington University Career Fair, our good friend Karim Ahmath was arrested by the WWU campus police. They charged him with disorderly conduct, citing his argument with one of the Army recruiters as the reason for the arrest.

UCLA student brutalized by campus cops
Posted November 20th, 2006 by FacilitatorOn November 14, 2006 around 11:30p.m, a UCLA student Mostafa Tabatabainejad, was confronted by the Community Service Officers in one of the campus libraries. SDS has learned that the student was asked to show his campus I.D. as part of a routine yet random security check of the campus. UCLA library rules stipulate that only students are allowed in the libraries after 11:00p.m. Witnesses say the student failed to provide his campus I.D. to the officers.
