FT. LEWIS, WA. Lawyers of Lt. Ehren Watada, who refused to deploy to Iraq war for combat, requested the U.S. District Court in Seattle halt this double-jeopardy attempt at court-martial, which is only days away.

Watada's second court-martial is scheduled to start next Tuesday, Oct. 9th. To date, Lt. Watada is the highest-ranking military officer to refuse deployment to Iraq.
